General Company Information, Headquarters, Branch Offices and Factories

Macrotech Marketing Associates, Inc. (MMA) has been an offshore (Asia) supplier of OEM commodities for the Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer, and Medical industries since 1982. We specialize in assisting our OEM customers reduce manufacturing costs by outsourcing to factories in Asia. Our USA office is in Los Gatos, California - the heart of Silicon Valley. We are a privately held California Corporation.

MMA's role is a unique blend of local sales contacts, engineering consulting, and superior customer service. We provide hands-on supervision of production, quality, delivery, and protection of customers' proprietary information at our supporting factories in Asia. Direct factory supervision is conducted by bilingual Engineering and Project Management personnel in our two Taiwan offices (Taipei and Kaohsiung), and our China office in Shenzhen. This structure gives our customers the virtual benefits of having their own offshore manufacturing site without the expense of establishing a presence there.

A vital part of our organization is MMA's sister company, Cable Connection, Inc. Cable Connection focuses on design, manufacture, and distribution of custom cable assemblies and connector solutions for the Medical Equipment and Electronics industries, standard cable assemblies for the Computer industry, and distribution of name-brand electronic components. Cable Connection also offers local quick-turn custom manufacturing and prototyping.

Together, MMA and Cable Connection occupy 24,000 square feet of office, R&D, manufacturing, and warehouse space in our Los Gatos, California facility. Jim Johnson is the Founder and President of both Corporations.

More than a dozen factories in Taiwan and China are currently supporting our organization. Collectively, these factories have broad capabilities, including the production of extruded wire, cable and harness assemblies, connectors, power products, tooling, injection molded plastics, stamped metal chassis and parts, PCBA fabrication and assembly, flexible printed circuits, and complete turn-key manufacturing services.

Design, Manufacturing, and Quality Expertise
MMA provides design assistance in the USA and at the Asian factories. In addition to our in-house engineering staff, we work with several outside industrial design consulting groups. These groups have worked with many of our customers in the development of new products - from molded plastic parts and printed circuit boards to complete sub-assembly design. Utilizing these extensive resources, we are able to cost-effectively expedite the design and production of new products.

We choose to only work with factories that are financially sound, have proven integrity, and demonstrate a high level of proficiency in production control, manufacturing engineering, quality control, and document control. All factories in our network have extraordinary quality track records and allow MMA staff to closely monitor all production activities that they conduct on behalf of our customers.
